Wireless Connectivity
Description
UB's wireless network provides shared, 802.11 A/G mobile Internet access for students, faculty and staff. Effective as of 4Q 2008, 802.11 N has been adopted as UB's new wireless standard.
Wireless coverage has been provided at specific geographic locations that have been designed and equipped for coverage. Coverage as of 4Q 2008 has not yet been installed to be uniform or complete for much of the campus.

Requirements
Customers must have a laptop equipped with a wireless network card and possess a valid UBIT account to use the service.
