Description

UB's wireless network provides shared, 802.11 A/G mobile Internet access for students, faculty and staff. Effective as of 4Q 2008, 802.11 N has been adopted as UB's new wireless standard.

Wireless coverage has been provided at specific geographic locations that have been designed and equipped for coverage. Coverage as of 4Q 2008 has not yet been installed to be uniform or complete for much of the campus.

DISCLAIMER: This wireless service is provided on an "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, that the service will be uninterrupted or error free due to the inherent susceptibility of 802.11 to RF interference.
