UB experienced a growth in internet usage last semester. Saturation of UB’s internet link during peak business hours resulted in some noticeable performance delays. In response to increasing demand, UB plans on adding capacity to the internet link sometime early spring semester.

Back in 2000, OSS entered into a partnership with Ronco Communications for cabling services to offset rising labor costs. Recent events have prompted us to expand our alliance with Ronco Communications and establish a new relationship with IP Logic in order to augment our existing workforce. When we decided to proceed with the multi-year UB*Net and VoIP initiatives, it quickly became apparent that we would need to add temporary capacity in order to make reasonable progress. The teams are dedicated to UB’s account and are considered extensions of the OSS family. These arrangements have provided us with visible relief.
